The EdgeAlways on the edge I walk I can't seem to find a balance My life flows like water through a rocky stream Yet I cannot see the dam at the endThe Edge
I know not which rocks it flows over I know not which direction it goes
Ever changing ever moving
I see the colors whirling before my eyes Yet I feel as though I cannot touch them
I experience nothing and everything at once I drink life in and yet I am dry like the desert Always searching for more

Is it right? She sits on the horizon touched by the orange, glowing dawn as it climbs into the sky The feeling is there, she knows it well It prickles up her spine like tiny sparksIs it right?
Making her breath catch, making her alert But is she ready? Will she be ready? When the moment comes will she do what is right?

Her StoryThe walls feel so close that night, as she turns on her computer screen and bathes in its clean white light. The blank page stares at her as she contemplates how to tell her tale. The blink of the cursor taunts her, forcing her to relive it all. But how does one write what their year has been? Where does she start? Her Story
To talk about her trials and tribulations seems so tiresome. The story is old and has been written so many ways, so many times. But her story is different, or so she thinks. She is special and talented and has been through so much

Time PassesTime flows through my hands like water Little drops of memory stuck to my skin Endless days, weeks, hours fall away I am left alone and wearyTime Passes
The sun rises and sets Nothing changes but the hour Days melt into one another And I am left breathless Struggling to catch up
I struggle to remember To mark this passing in some small way I need something more than just the sunrise I need your memories
